poor service

I phoned the MTN Retentions department at 8 o'clock in the morning to inquire if I can upgrade one of my contracts early( ********** 244) as my phone was ******. I was informed by Phto Habebe that I need to pay R529 to upgrade at the store as I can not wait 7 days for the phone, I wanted to go into the store to pay and was advised not to as the payment wil only reflect in 24 hours I should do a cash deposit at an ABSA bank. I proceeded to do so. She also advised me to phone back in 2 hours to receive my reference number that I need to take to the store. I phoned back after 2 hours and received the reference number and was told by another lady that I need to wait until the payment reflects before I can upgrade which will only reflect after 12 I once agaim waited after 12 and phoned back and was told I needed to go into store and email the proof of payment trough which I did. I drive trough to the store and was then advised by another agent that I can not upgrade as a cash deposit needs a cooling off period of 24 hours before I can upgrade If I made the payment was made at an MTN store it would've reflected Immediately everything after I have been running around all day trying to upgrade my line and did everything I was told. Agents should not miss lead customers like that after speaking to a supervisor and making me look like a fool
