POOR SERVICE
Yesterday I literally broke down at an MTN Store in bayside mall and started crying then something was done. I became so emotional over the thought of I was going to be stuck with a 12000 debt that I have to pay over a period of 24 months over something that I don’t want and it was extremely difficult for me to use since I have been using an iPhone for 6 years. Since I was due for an upgrade I went to MTN on Wednesday at bayside mall in Cape Town and wanted an IPhone XR or SE but they told me it’s out of stock and discontinued. The consultant recommended that I take a P40 lite and it will be a total upgrade from my iPhone that I am using but when I got home the expectations were different from what I was told. I did not get from the phone and I could not use it Friday Morning I called MTN spoke to different call centre agents Two of them and they told me I can go back to The MTN shop to return the product within 7 days of purchase if I am not happy with it ....... after work I went straight to MTN to exchange the upgrade to a IPhone 11 but the mangers reaction and feedback was literally saying you stuck with the phone and the vibe in the store was way different from the day I took the phone the P40 I don’t think anyone was as friendly as the day I took the phone the relationship I had with MTN was not so longer treating me nicely like how I no. When I upgrade my phone it’s not like I want to it’s because I don’t want to lose my relationship with them but yesterday I became so emotional and felt helpless until Shannon the consulate decided to do something and I thank him for that he was the only person that really had a change of heart after he saw me crying and told me that he will cancel the upgrade and do another one so that I get my iPhone 11. After how everything turned out I am not sure if I still want to continue my contract with MTN over the whole ordeal it was very embarrassing for me to go through and really made me very upset.
