Poor Service

Poor service On the 1st October 2015 I decided to upgrade my contract with MTN to the brand new LG G4 smartphone. Let me tell you from day one I had problems with this phone but I decided to carry on with device as the issues weren't worth my time to send in for repair as I do use this phone for business use. I eventually deicded after the problems increased to take the phone straight to the midrand repair centre to get this all sorted (1st june 2016). My first experince was not bad as I was helped promptly and explained all the problems to a guy named Dylan, to my despleasure I find out that LG have a common problem with this device. I understand that MTN dont manufacture this devices but you have taken the responsibility to sell them, as a customer of MTN I would expect my problem to be fixed within a resonable amount of time.

Fast track to around a week after the device was booked in; I drive through to the repair centre (happy that it was done quicker then told) after inspecting the device everything seemed to be working fine, to my dispointment a couple hours after using the device the phone started over heating to a point where I couldnt even hold the phone on top of that I find that the microphone which i pointed out the first encounter was still not working.

Now please understand how this starts becoming unacceptable. After I booked the phone in the first time I had to buy myself a replacment phone, The day I got my phone back I sold the phone I bought for obviously less then what i bought it for in the first place (R200 less) but on top of that I then need to drive all the way out to allandale to book the phone in again. I then have no choice but to take the phone back (16th june 2016) after speaking to DYLAN he tells me that I can come in on that sa****ay to pick up the phone as now I am not going to buy another phone because of the something that was not my fault. I get told by DYLAN ''No problem i will sort this for you, it will be going to the head of the repairs centre'' now I see that he wants to help me so I leave and come back on sa****ay 18th june to find that Mr DYLAN is nowhere to be seen, how convenient is it that after he tells me that it would be done by that sa****ay but he is not there. I then get told I am looking at another 2 weeks as spares have been ordered but to be told that becasue of stock take it could be longer... so because of this stock take everything in the MTN repair centre comes to a standstill.

Let me put this now in perspective-

Replacement phone - R200 loss to my pocket

Petrol - R150 loss to my pocket

My time - time taken from work

MTN - R0 loss to MTN....

I DO NOT want a phone that keeps giving me problems, I have lost all faith with LG and MTN.

Terrible customer service.
