Poor Service
MTN has wronged me over and over, When it got to my attention that I was a victim of impersonation I approached MTN and informed them as to what has happened. On the 20th June 2018 I submitted an affidavit as per the consultant's request 'Wendy Zwane" After they investigated they indeed found out that ***** did take place and until today I am awaiting a PR letter from MTN acquitting me and fixing my credit record. Almost a year later account has been moved to legal but after speaking to Phindile in the call centre it was noted but no one updated the details.

To make matters worse is I went to MTN at Festivaal Mall to raise this Issue and the agent who was suppose to assist me (Xolani Khumalo) told me that he does not deal with ***** cases and I need to go to head office. I asked him as they are a branch that can they please call head office and he said that can’t be done as they are just branch. Eventually when he allowed me to use the phone Phindile the consultant told me they can pick up the issue that it’s listed as a ********** matter and was resolved on 26 of May 2018 but my details were still sent to legal. Whilst I was on the call being put through to legal Xolani at MTN Festival Mall said he needs his phone as he needs to assist a customer. Because of MTN employees not doing their job and following the proper background check before issuing out contracts my credit record is messed up and I’m struggling to get property, A year later this is still not resolved
