POOR SERVICE

On 2015-11-28 i handed my cellphone with IMEI NO. *** in for repairs. On 2015-12-10 i went back to enquire about my phone and was told my phone was sent in for repairs but they cannot produce proof that it was sent in. On 2015-12-11 i speak to the manager and she told me my phone is still in the shop and will be sent in to be repaired under warranty because the phone was purchase when i renew my contract on 2015-03-21. On 2015-12-22 MTN repair centre sent me an sms with a qoute of R4800.00 if they repair my phone because the mtn shop did not attach proof of purchase to have the phone repaired under warranty.

Hello johnnyainslie,

Thank you for your post. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result of this.

Kindly be advised that if the phone was handed in without a proof of purchase it is treated as out of warranty and you're charged to repair it.The matter has been escalated to Cynthia and the HVRC (Repair Centre) supervisory team for assistance.

Kind Regards
Nompumelelo
