Poor Repair Service on BRAND NEW Samsung S7

After upgrading my contract & being convinced that the Samsnung S7 was the way to go. I upgraded my MTN mobile contract on the 21 December 2016. After only 9 days the entire phone just kept freezing. Having to reset the phone everytime, gave you 3 minutes of use before freezing again.

I returned to the MTN store i upgraded at, to which I was first informed to take my phone directly to Samsung @ Nicolway, beacuse MTN wont fix the phone, "its a Samsung problem".

I thought this was rather strange, as I got the phone from MTN not Samsung. Anyway after querying that instruction, I was then informed that I had actually 1 of 2 choices.

1. Leave the phone at the MTN store and wait up to 4 weeks for it to be returned

OR

2. Take it to MTN Service & repair (allendale) and they will fix it within 24 hours.

Needless to say 24 hours is far better than 4 weeks. So I made my way to the MTN Service & Repair centre. I was told that it would take 24 - 48 hours to repair, or longer if the phone needed parts. BUT, they would contact me.

3 days passed, no communication. I mailed the service consultant and was infiormed that the phone needed parts and that was why there was a delay. (Great Communication)

7 days later I mailed back to find out what the situation was, to recieve communication stating that my query had been escalated...Thanks, to where the store room.

Now 10 days later, I mailed again. I am yet to get a response.\

I upgraded to phone on 21 Dec, used it for 9 days and have subsequently have not had the use of this NEW phone under a NEW contract for 31 days!

GUARANTEED, I will still be billed at the new Contract rate!
