Poor MTN Systems and service

During February I had a call from MTN and the chap wanted to sell me a new contract that was cheaper than the one that I had, I cannot remember his name as I was not able to write down his name as I did not have either pen or paper with me. I was reluctant. He spoke very fast and kept saying yes to everything that he said. I explained to him I was an elderly pensioner and that I do not understand all the technical terms. He was persistent. I told him a few times that I am doubtful. I asked him to email me the contract which he did not. I also asked him if I had a cooling off period on the contract which he confirmed. He also said that my account was an average of R280 pm, I said he was wrong and that my account was always R258. He argued saying that it was R280 pm and that he had my account in front of him. I later checked my account and I was correct it was always R258 I never received a contract and on the 14th March the phone arrived. I opened the packaging and found that it had two sim cards. As there were no clear instructions I went to the local MTN franchise for help. They explained that I would need to have two phones - one for normal communications and another for WhatsApp. I was unhappy and told them I wanted to cancel and return the phone and sims, which were all still in their packaging. As it was late on in the evening and there system was down they asked me to come back the next day the 15th, which I did. They gave me a document with a work order number WO ********** the lady that helped me was very friendly and helpful her name was Chessnita. She told me that I should phone ********** on the Monday the 18th March 19 to get a reference number. I did this and was given a reference number 25052 by Mpolo who said it was a temporary reference and that I would receive a sms with the actual reference number within a week to 10 days. I again phoned on the 22nd March and spoke to Amanda who told me that it had been submitted but that MTN had a back log. Phoned again on 18th April and kept on getting cut off (five times) I again phoned on the 22nd April 19 again got to speak to Amanda who told me the same story that MTN were behind with their documentations. She suggested that I go to local MTN branch which I did on the 23rd April and was told they cannot help and referred me back to the Call centre. I again phoned the Call centre this time spoke to Liza who said that it had not yet been cancelled but that all documentation had been done and that I should be patient. The b On the 20th May I again phoned and spoke to Mpolo who confirmed that the cancellation had been requested, but that they (MTN) had a back log. She said once the documentation was processed I would be credited May Statement again reflected that I had not been credited, and had been debited for another month and was added to my stop order. On the 4th June 19 spoke to Jason who said he would check what had happened. I held on the phone for long time and eventually he came he came back on the line and told me the same story “had been received back into stock and that cancellation had been requested, but that they (MTN) had a back log” He told me to be patient and that someone would phone me as so as MTN had processed the documentation. Who can help me get this problem sorted out please??
