Poor customer services
I received a sms from MTN informing me that they will suspend my service,i contacted customer service to find out what is happening, to my surprised i was told my account is in areas. so i asked the agent to explain coz i dont despite me not getting my invoice every month i always call them to ask why am i not getting my invoice? the response will either be they having problem with their system or they will escalate my query to billing department, and then i would ask how much i need to pay and they will give me the amount then i process the payment. so i couldn't understand how can i have an outstanding balance. and one could explain it to me, i was told they will escalate the matter to collections, in the meantime they will reconnect my lines but it will take 2 - 24hrs. so 24hrs came and past by my lines was stilt disconnected. i then called them 4 times on the second and they will tell me my line is connected i must switch off my phone for 10 min. even then still nothing. i then called again and i got a nice gentlemen who was so kind, i wish can could remember his name, he then ask me to hold while his checking whats the issues was, he then explain to me everything he answered all my questions in a nice manner, turns out MTN messed during their migration to the new system, i then agree to make payment arrange so that my line will be re connected. but even that it didn't make any difference coz my line was still suspended by the end of day two. so its days two i cant use my phone but yet i will have to pay full invoice balance, how is that fair? is MTN gona to adjustment for the days i couldn't use my phone? they don't even call a person they just cut off the service so how is that professional? two of my friends had to cancelled their contract and left MTN coz of the same treatment they received. and right now I'm considering the something as im going in to day three with my service suspended.
