Poor Customer Service - MTN Repair Center Montague Gardens

I upgraded my contract a couple of months ago to the new Samsung A5. Recently the charging unit of the phone stopped working. I went to MTN Service Centre in Montague Gardens to have it looked at.

Firstly I was told that they wouldn't take the phone without the charger (as if MTN doesn't have chargers for this particular phone). Then when I left to go and get the charger is was 'politely" reminded that the close at 12pm on a Friday,

Upon my return I had to sit and listen to some Eminem swearing on the radio whilst the customer service consultant did not utter one word except "signed here".

When I enquired about the lead time I was told that since they close at 12 that day, (and it was only 10am) that they will probably not be able to work on it then but only on Monday.

On Monday afternoon about 3pm I contacted the service centre to get an update. The operator informed me that they could not locate the job number provided. I then decided to go there myself and and get answers.

On my arrival I was told that the phone that I've been paying and using the last couple of months wasn't registered on the MTN network and thus couldn't be booked in for repairs. What a crock load of bull****...

1) Upon my arrival on Friday 10am the consultants was sitting and waiting for the day to pass. 2) How it is possible that the issue of the phone not being registered on the network not been picked up then. 3) Why was I not contacted on Monday when this problem occurred. 4) Surely, the service center could've somehow tried to resolve this issue and not just wait for me to personally go there for answers. 5) I wish I took the consultant's name but I was so irritated with her an MTN that I just took my phone when se handed it back to me and instructed that I bring them the proof of purchase from MTN Tygervalley. 6) don;t even bother to call me because my phone isn't working as it couldn't be repaired due to it not being registered on the MTN network.

Sort out your **** ... and my phone.
