Poor customer service

Went to the MTN store in Eastgate two weeks ago to apply for a contract for a laptop and a cellphone. This gentleman whom I cannot recall his name assisted me and said it's been approved however they don't have stock for laptops and he will call me when stock is available. Till today there hasnt been any communication and when I try call the number that's on the website the *** there's been no answer I've been calling multiple times with no answer and i can't just go there just to check hence I wanted to call before I waste my time and go for nothing. Please assist
