Poor customer care while MTN grows rich

I called 808 from 16 March until last week when I got fed up of calling these useless people who send me from pillar to post regarding MTN crediting me money deducted *******ly.

Here is the trail of emails as sent from 16 March until 9 May 2016.

Your customer care is non-existent.

Below are my emails I sent to you

13 April

Hi,

On 16 March 2016, I made a call to inquire about why my account was debited R976.75 as opposed to the normal R239.99. This means MTN owes me a total of R 736.76.

Shenice gave me the customer number *** but it does not work. Instead, it tells me about a mailbox or leaving someone a message.

I do not understand why the number for the ***** department does not work and anyway WHY should I make follow ups for your mess-ups?!

I am close to closing my account and moving to another network because no one has ever bothered to call me, except Shanice today before 11:30.

Why must I go through all of this? I have been a loyal client since for a long time. Should I take my business elsewhere where I will be appreciated and helped rapidly?

I am slowly reaching my tethers with MTN because you guys are unreliable, ************* and unprofessional!

If I do not receive any call or notification of when I will be paid the difference, I swear I will take you to the regulator and ***** your name on social media!!!

I am very angry as I do not understand how something so easy can take so long.

From a very unhappy customer.

Tebatso Mabilisa (Mr.)

Tebatso Mabilisa <***>
9 May (9 days ago)

to me

Mbali Zondi *** to pay back R736.76 within 24 hours.

Tebatso Mabilisa <***>
10 May (8 days ago)

to me

Mbali Zondi **** to me about the repayment.

Today, I spoke to Sidwell Nyembe

***

He promised that the payment will be made before or by Thursday, 12 May 2016.

Tebatso Mabilisa <***>
13 May (5 days ago)

to me

13 Apr

Tebatso Mabilisa <***>
13 May (5 days ago)

to me

Now I spoke to Phindile Buthelezi ***.

***** Department must escalate to banking department so they can refund me. No turnaround time.

Poor customer care!!!

My email on 09 May 2016

Poor customer Care leads to NO feedback,

Its has been almost 2 months since my account was deducted money belonging to a ********** contract.I fail to grasp the nerve MTN has of not wanting to pay me back the difference as stated in previous emails.

I must also always make follow-ups to find out if there is any progress in the case. What I find worrying is the fact that I have been deducted but to pay back the money does not seem like a priority for MTN.

To tell you the honest truth, I am fed up with your poor Customer Care even now as I am typing, I have been put on hold by Mbali for almost 30 minutes. Its a pity I do not know her surname. Why is it that my loyalty is being tested by MTN? Why do you feel it is necessary to hold my money ransom for services that were **********ly opened by someone within your organisation who has probably done the same to many other people goes unpunished while I, as a paying client, cannot get any commitment in writing that indeed I will be reimbursed by your "esteemed" organisation.

What more do you guys want from me? I have tried but you leave me no choice but to report you to ICASA and to tarnish your image to very negative. I love MTN, I also wish to work there someday but if you can treat your clients like ****, then I believe your staff is also unhappy. I mean look at Mbali, she is still putting me on hold and it is now 33 minutes. So the workplace must just be as bad a a ***sty for your employee to make a paying customer hold on for so long. You guys make me sick because as a proud South African, I can safely say that MTN does not care about it customers. All they want is money! You guys are blood-thirsty conniving capitalists!

Oh, Mbali it is almost 35 minutes I have been on hold. Your service sucks! I just want my money paid back NOW! I have given you more than enough time. If MTN were a blesser, then the blesee would have dumped him a long time ago.

#Paybackthemoney
#IdontcareifitsviaEFTorShoprite
#MTNservicesucks
#MTNsucks
#****edoffMTNcustomer
#Imabouttoleaveyoursorryesxcuseforanetwork
#****edofffordays

--
Tebatso
***

The only response I got is:

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for your continued support.

This email serves as acknowledgement of your request.
