Poor customer care
MTN changes my usage limit then I have to struggle since the lockdown March up to now to be able to recharge data or airtime as I'm also working from home. I've logged numerous calls, the latest being #*** but am not getting helped. MTN's helpline 135 never takes you to a service champion to speak with. The MTN app, *141# or *136#5 doesn't work to change limits. I also keep getting incorrect messages that my product has been depleted and blocked, which is not true. Can something like this go on for so long whereby MTN doesn't help you? This is sad! I've always been pro MTN but not anymore. They can phone you, but you can't speak with them for assistance, just a machine!

03 Jul 2020, 07:08I tried again to phone 135, this time I was able to choose to speak with a service champion somewhere within option 3. Being told that it is fixed after being online for 35 minutes. Next day, not resolved. A satisfactory survey had to be completed and viola, they eventually phoned me due to the very poor rating.
Thank you to Thobekile Khuzwayo at MTN who eventually helped me to resolve this issue, it's been a long month.
