POOR ALL ROUND SERVICE FROM MTN

I attach my escalation email to mtn. This is an ongoing service problem an no so called service champion can assist. Poor service from call centre, online help, and billing dept.

Issue #1:

I have upgraded this line from 30gb contract @ R299 to a 100gb anytime contract @ R299 in Dec 2020.

The upgrade confirmation email is attached.

MTN is still billing me for the 30gb contract on out of bundle rate R1129,57 ex vat, together with the 100gb on the same number.

After much communication with customer services, I finally received a credit on 09 April of R2701, refer refund evidence attached.

My new invoice still reflects incorrect amount and MTN has since suspended my account, as confirmed yesterday on my call to

Customer services, escalation reference (REF ***).

Until now I have received no written or verbal response on my queries dating back to 15 March 2021, yet MTN continue to debit me.

Issue #2:

I made purchase of 5gb+5gb top bundle on 11 April @ R99 (attached payment confirmation email incl customer support correspondence).

Today it is 10days later and the bundle has not been activated. I have only received responses asking what phone number and what bundle

Yet the MTN reference was in the original escalation… what type systems MTN use?? Since then there is no response.

My monthly data comes in by 17th of each month, so I had to make numerous other purchases on my other service providers to stay online.

Issue #3:

I’ve been subscribed to various MTN play promotions for which I did not apply nor confirm.

Body Tips , Gamer + Daily, Travel Tips, and brain fitness. These rates are from R3 to R20

Per service daily.

After making contact with MTN customer service yesterday they have since been cancelled,

But no explanation as to why im being billed for it.

Please refund me on all those charges!

In conclusion, I expect some positive feedback and corrective action to resume business with MTN.

Not only has MTN compromised my finances with irregular charges, but now also compromising

My family lifestyle by suspending the data and service on my account.
