Please stop *****ing my money

While on contract I had an issue with MTN *****ing my money with claims of data charges in the 1000s of rands. So I promptly cancelled my contract.

Surprise! They can ***** your money on pre-paid too!

Apparently, I signed myself up to a subscription for data - which I didn't do! When I spoke to a customer services consultant -WHO HUNG UP ON ME!! - I was told that I MUST HAVE made the purchase. When I explained that this was impossible as I have only been back in the country for a week and was not here to make a subscription purchase a month ago, she then claimed that I made the purchase in June last year. When I told her this is suspicious because obviously, I would have noticed before today if there was a purchase in June. She claimed she can't check the system after June. Because THAT makes sense. What did she do next? Gave me a random number and then HUNG UP!

MTN: PLEASE refund my money and cancel this mysterious subscription.

Your response is a joke.

Two months later and I still have the same problem.

It seems that the message from MTN is load and clear: I need to walk.
