Please choose any other network except for MTN!!!! They are the worst! Go with Vodacom.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!

I was called by an MTN contracted company that does upgrades spontaniously to do a upgrade, I think its called Mondo or something like that. a week later I call to find out what was happening with the upgrade and was told that they are waiting for my ID and bank statement - which no one asked for.

Fast forward I call MTN directly to speak to Ernest Mgoma, Who assured me that there is stock of the Iphone 14 pro max, So we proceeded with the upgrade. I mailed him my ID before hanging up. Again was told the waiting period is 3 to 7 days until delivery. This was on the 9th of Nov 2022.

I called the callcentre again this week as no correpondance was given. The person i spoke to told me that the contract is pending dispatch, so for a moment that sounded like good news.

Today when I called I was told the upgrade was cancelled due to no stock.

Why was the upgrade cancellation done without informing me? WHy did Ernest lie about the stock why was I told it is pending dispatch if the upgrade was cancelled?

This is the first time I was give the run around with an upgrade through MTN. There is always a story from them.
