PLEASE CANCEL MY CONTRACT THAT I DID NOT AGREE TO.

I was due for an upgrade. I got a phone call from "MTN" asking if I want to upgrade and I said NO because I am happy with my phone. The person that said I could sign up for just airtime and data so I said ok, but NO NEW PHONE. The new amount would be R100 and something. My old bill was R365.

Two months later I am STILL being billed R365 per month. The first time I was billed incorrectly MTN told me it was the last bill for my old contract. The second time I was billed incorrectly I went into an MTN store and they told me I have been signed up for a NEW CONTRACT WITH A NEW PHONE! I DO NOT HAVE A NEW PHONE OR AGREE TO ONE. They said that a 3rd party signed me up to this new contract and not MTN.

I have filled in an affidavit at the police station and submitted to the MTN store 3 weeks ago to CANCEL the contract. I received a reference number: 1- ********** 2066 3 weeks later I have heard nothing back from MTN.

Yesterday I phoned MTN and to follow up and they say nothing has been done about it. They gave me a new reference number ********** 58.

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME CANCEL THIS CONTRACT THAT I DID NOT AGREE TO! MTN IS *****ING MY MONEY!

MTN rep**** and told me to call their ***** department at ********** 466 but no one answers.

I have now cancelled my debit order with MTN so that they stop taking my money

UPDATE: I got through to *****. They said it is not ***** and that I must call MTN retentions. I phoned MTN retentions and they said the request to cancel the contract has been logged with CCI who signed me up to this contract. They gave me a number to call. I called CCI and they say that their system says I am being billed only R126 and they have not received a request from MTN to cancel the contract?!?!?!?! (why is MTN still billing me R365 then and who is CCI??) The gentleman who helped me, Theron Pillay Inbound Retentions Agent, at CCI says he has requested that the contract must be canceled and this will be done in 7-10 working days.

I would appreciate MTN's feedback on this as soon as possible.
