phones being sold while sent for repairs
I sent my phone in for repairs in November, a few weeks later called to enquire if it was fixed but to my disappointment it was not. this carried on for 2 months as the repair centre was still waiting for the broken parts.
Mtn has never bothered to send me any correspondence or courtesy call and being a customer of 3 contracts feel that no service has been provided to me.
I managed to get through to the call centre to request for banking details to have my phone returned to me, and to my surprise the phone was sold to recover expenses. This phone was a month old, how and im currently paying the debit order, how much did they sell it for and how much are they receiving from the debit order?
There was no documentation signed to advise of the terms and conditions of sending my Brand New Phone for repairs, no SMS notification and no courtesy call at all.
I'm shocked that Mtn sells peoples phone without warning. This is corporate ******* as i without fail receive correspondence regarding my monthly payments and upgrades but none towards my benefit.
After this experience I would discourage any one to use Mtn services to avid stressful encounters with the call centre and spare themse
