Phone still not received

I am posting this again for the third time now. I have had replies fron MTN twice and they have promised to sort it out, but it has been almost 5 months now since I have been trying to sort this out.

Here is my original post:

Having exhausted all MTN customer service options, I am posting here as a last resort. My upgrade was approved on 28 September 2016 and the consultant verified that the phone I wanted was in stock. It is almost 3 months later and the phone, which was supposed to arrive the following week has not arrived. I have sent many emails and made many calls to MTN complaints and when I have received a reply, it is usually just a copy in to an email being sent to another department for follow up. No one has actually phoned with any solutions and I feel that the general attitude is that they do not care about customer service at all. I have migrated to the new contract for these three months , but still no handset. If I could just speak to someone who can help me. But there is no direct contact to anyone who has any authority or seems to care. I am very disillusioned as I have been a loyal contract customer for years.

And here is the one reply I got in December:

Dec 21, 2016
Official business reply:
Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for taking time to raise your concerns with MTN, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.

kindly be advised that we sent an urgent request to joshua and to his seniors for the speedy resolution of the problem.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

warm regards

mike

Dear Ken,

Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns and affording us the opportunity to address the same. Kindly accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We have had to escalate the query to a sales division for urgent assistance. We have requested for urgent feedback as this matter has unfortunately been dragging in for some time now.

Thank you for your feedback.

Kind regards

Previous response said the same thing. I am really hoping that this time is different. This has gone on far too long now. I think there should really be a contact person to get in touch with as a last resort in cases like this.
