Earlier this year on the 09 January 2019 I submitted my phone, a Nokia 6 for repairs(cracked screen). Understandably the repairs center was closed at the time, the idea was to at least get it ahead of the queue so I can get it back sooner. A few weeks later I was quoted and I accepted the quote for the repairs to be carried out. I was then told a few days later to pay first, which I did. About 2 weeks or so later I was told my phone was returned by the Nokia repair center to MTN due to a rejected\or unpaid quote. This where I think the problems started, I then escalated the issue with the supervisors and MTN could then not locate my device for a while. During the entire process I had to call MTN everyday for upates and to escalate. Eventually the phone was found. Fast forward to last week wednesdays when the phone was finally repaired(according to the agent) and awaiting QA. I then called the on friday and the note was that they are awaiting confirmation from the external repair center(which is Nokia, as they say). Today the 01 April 2019 I am told they are awaiting parts to repair the device. I really hope this is some bad April fool's joke. The device was repaired according to the worklogs last week and now I am told this is not yet done. I am at a lost what to do, it is almost 3 months and it seems the repairs are not even done yet. What kind of service is this? I cannot fully explains the pains I went through to get this work completed, at one point I even spoke to the people at the repair, trying to locate the device. Needless to say that did not help much. I will not place the blame on the agents at HVRC, I feel they really did try to help but the reality is that it is almost 3 months and the phone is still not repaired. the fustration is really beyond my tolerance levels.
