PHONE IN REPAIRS FOR FOUR MONTHS NOW

I logged a complaint about MTN and was advised to send ramabo-m an e-mail and I will be assisted.
It's been two weeks now and still no acknowledgement of e-mail or any sort of feedback.
This is how MTN treats its clients.
First, MTN wants to rip me off, my phone is still under warranty and they say its not working due to 'moisture 'present in the phone. I have confirmed with the call centre that the phone has never been in contact with water, even though the phone is dust and water proof.
The contact centre wanted to send me pictures of \proof\" that the phone had 'moisture' in it, and I asked them to send me pictures to validate that that is the same condition that phone was received in, bearing in mind that the phone was at an MTN shop for more that two weeks before it was collected and sent to repairs. And it has been at repairs for four months now, so when did this moisture business take place????
I was sold a phone that is both dust and water proof, surely it is designed to tolerate the \"moisture\" they are referring to.

Bottom line, I demand my phone. I am paying every month for this phone and yet I do not have it .....four months now"

Hello BGM,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. According to our Repairs Centre the phone was deemed liquid damaged because one of the manufacturer's conditions on the volume of water and the duration the phone can stand were not met.

Rest assured that it is not our intention to displease you and we look forward to continue improving on our service delivery to you.

Kind Regards
Itumeleng
