Phone contract

I’m not happy with service I got from MTN, I went to one of MTN stores to request my contract to be cancelled and I was told they cancelled contracts at the store so they gave me a number to phone. Later on the same day (14/09/2020) I phoned the number I got from MTN store and I was given a reference *** saying that my request will be processed. On the 12/10/2020 I phoned MTN call centre and I was told that my contract is still open which I didn’t understand I requested it to be cancelled on the 14/09/2020 and now being billed for something I cancelled. Please ensure that my contract is cancelled immediately as I requested it be done long time ago and I did not request any voice calls, data & sms allocations which were made on the 12/10/2020 so I’m not willing pay for them. I’m very frustrated and disappointed with extremely poor service MTN provided and I’ll never recommend it to anyone
