Phone company has no phones to sell

I am angry in the first place as Mtn did not let me know my kids phones were due for upgrade in Nov 2014. After having major trouble getting through to them I was finally told this information. My phone is with Vodacom who let me know when an upgrade is due, why can't Mtn do the same? Now I have been waiting for weeks to get a new phone due to the strike and despite their spokesman saying the following in the press nearly a week ago. \The company has put in place an alternative distribution route which will clear all backlogs. We should have no distribution teething challenges in the next 18 hours
