Phantom Service Centre
I took my phone into MTN to be repaired over a month ago. The average wait for a consultant to answer your call at the service centre is 30min, you've struck the jackpot if the Nicolway store answers and the person dealing with your repair is actually in and the average response on twitter takes 7-10 days. <br> I eventually found out that my water proof phone has water damage and is irreparable, even though the only thing wrong with the phone to begin with was a brightness setting. A scape goat if you ask me.<br> In order to retrieve my phone to send it to Sony, I need to pay R330, but after 2 weeks of begging, I still do not have an invoice or any payment details.<br> It's a miracle MTN has even survived this long in the market.

We appreciate that you have made us aware of the issues that you were faced with regarding the faulty handset.
I apologize for any inconveniences caused as a result of this. I understand the frustration that you endured in your attempt to have the issue resolved.
Unfortunately, the IMEI number and Job Card number have been left out of your post which does delay the resolution time. In order for our HRVC (Repair Department) to investigate and resolve this matter, we do require the IMEI or job card number.
Kindly provide all the above mentioned details in order for us to assist you further.
