Pending Contract Application
I app**** for a contract at MTN Shortmarket Steet in Cape Town, I supp**** all the required information and after a week or so I received an sms to say my contract had been approved. A few days later I received a call from the MTN store informing me that on 6 October after my contract was approved four other contracts were approved in my name. I informed them that I had not app**** for another contract. They assured me that it was ********** I shouldnt worry MTN has since cancelled the other lines and they would reapply and I should wait for a response. A few weeks later I sent someone to enquire on my behalf and they tell them that my application has been denied because I already have four other contracts, which I dont. And now MTN is investigating me for *****. I have not received any official emailor phone call from MTN explaining why I am being investigated. I have not been given information as to where the other lines were app**** for and the agent who approved them. Who signed the paperwork? Now I am told I have to get an affidavit from the police stating that I am innocent and I have to contact the ***** centre. Why am I being inconvenienced and why has noone contacted me?

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.
Thank you for your time, as per your feedback on line we cannot pick up any information with your passport number, we can only pick up contract information with the cell number or account number. Once the contract has been approved with the RSA ID number an account number will be allocated to you with the cell numbers added on to the account.
To pick up any information that the contracts has been taken out in your name we do require the cell numbers or account number. Please visit the store again to assist you with the account number and cell numbers allocated to the account as per the systems
Once you have received this information you can do the affidavit clear stamp and the ID copy need to be certified on signature on the ID copy. The MTN store can then log the request to our ***** department and they will give you the reference number. ***** will investigate and this will take up to 15 working days to resolve.
We have sent the request to the store to assist further.
We cannot give you any reference number for this complaint due to no account information rece
