Payment query not resolved but funds out my account

I made a payment on the 4 September via the mtn app which I do every week but it's a week later and payment is still not reflecting. I was at a store they opened a case and still have not sorted it out even sent the proof of payment aswell. Case was closed and funds not allocated. Is this hoe a major company operates
