PAYING FOR A BROKEN LAPTOP REQ:***

Good day,

I wrote to MTN and called them following below that was published a year ago, 7 January 2017.I called the contact centre providing them with my details and no one was taking accountability yet I paid R429 each month for a broken laptop. When the war with MTN failed, I wrote to the CEO of HP who promptly arranged for the collection of the laptop at my home this is almost a year later of MTN doing nothing and I sat with a broken laptop. After a month of working smoothly, the laptop refused to work once more.

I would like to raise my fustration over MTN who sold me a laptop with a problem after going to them , they said they logged a fault with their external repairer who will laise with me and I waited and followed up with MTN who said there's nothing they can do as they only sell the units, where's justice in that as I'm paying them not the external party to be placed in the centre of it all. My fustration with MTN is escalating to a peak point of even going the extent of suing them as the service is pathetic but they dont stop sending me statements that I have to pay for, for an item that doesnot work.

My contract number that is linked to the contract is ********** 019 and my contact number is ********** .

Previous review published 7 January 2017 stated. after a a month of purchasing a laptop on contract from MTN, we realized the screen brightness levels were inconsistent and later the laptop would radomly switch itself off.

We we sent it to MTN in Century we were advised that they're the middle man only log a reference to HP.They in turn contact us to collect and fix the laptop almost four months of waiting. every time we need to use it we need to keep switching it on and off, yet it even 6 months of purchasing it, Each time we go to mtn they advise us that they can't assist
