I have requested my contract to be migrated to prepaid upon its expiry on 15 July 2016, this was supposed to have been effective end July 2016. Last week my phone was ****** and when calling to have my sim swopped I was told it is still on contract. I again requested immediate cancellation on 12 august 2016.

The reference numbers for these cancellations ********** and ********** . Cellphone number is ********** .

I would have had to pay 136 for a new contract sim, which was because of the incompetence of your staff! when I visit the store, they direct me to call 808, the agent on 808 says I should take it up with the store. Apparently the first migration request was to early, but then why did they give me a reference and tell me it will be migrated?

My contract number is A ********** . I do not need to be called by you. I just want you to confirm my contract has expired and no debit order will be going of. Irrespective of when you have last credited my account, as this was due to your own incompetence again.

I am going to pay the R136 as I need my number and am having it ported. Please advise how this will be reimbursed, I will go through a tribunal if I have to.

I know 3 other people in my close friends who have had similar issues with cancellations. I am sure there are 1000's in the country and there should be some implications for MTN from regulators for such disgusting service with regard to cancellations.
