Pathetic treatment of a client of 20 years standing from mtn

In March I received a sales pitch from an mtn agent who offered me a seemingly great deal if I agreed to changes on my contract [the contract I had being discontinued, I was told] - I have/had a phone which I use as the usual smart phone, and a ****le which I use for my PC - ie; two numbers I never received the contract to review within the expected usual 7 day period, but at the end of the month I realised that my phone-data bundle of 2GB had been halved to 1GBpm, as well as my 200 minutes talktime halved to 100minutes pm - in other words the 'contract' had been put through I have phoned and communicated via emails numerous times and have still not had my complaint sorted out. I thought I might 'short-cut' the airtime issue by sharing data from my ****le [replies from their 'Customer Care' center have supp**** ref#'s *** and ***]. Since lockdown this has all occured at the same time as mtn has instituted a new system, and most of their agents tell me they don't have access to the new system. I have been unable to share data from my ****le to phone via their app, as I get 'invalid number' whatever number I enter on either device. Always typically two or three days before the month is up I run out of airtime and am expected to buy a new bundle - which is NOT saving, as I was promised initially...

I received an sms this morning from mtn to say I had used 80% of my airtime, meaning I should have had 20 minutes left - on trying to make a call earlier I get to be told I have 0.00 minutes available, yet on the app I have 18.47 minutes available on the Recurring Inclusive Anytime Voice bundle - which is probably the talk time left over from the last time I purchased a top-up.

When I phoned [again] this afternoon their robot suggested I can enter '2' as one of the options, to report *****; I'm going to do that next, and probably follow up with a similar report to the Ombud
