Pathetic Service - Rude Manager - MTN The Pavilion (Durban)

Visited the Pavilion Branch, in Durban, as my Iphone stopped working.

I was told that my handset would take 3 to 4 weeks to be repaired, with no loan phone available.

When I expressed my concern over not having a phone, for work purposes, I was told that this is their procedure and if I wanted a faster turn around time - I could take the phone to the repair centre myself.

The consultant then went away to the back area...to get another consultant to take a look at my phone, which never happened. Instead she returned, with the 'manager'' - who never introduced herself but instead went on to tell me exactly what the consultant said - particularly that there is no loan phone.

This woman was so rude, she told me that I should complain to Apple regarding the handset repair time.

'Mtn has millions of complaints regarding handsets, loan phones are not available to every customer''

'The stores purchase loan phones from their own pockets, to keep the customers happy''

She even had the audacity, to ask what happened to the phone that I had prior to my Iphone, when I told her I had no other phone.

The cherry on top was ofcourse, when she told me that we are going around in circles and that I needed to decide what I want to do.

When I requested the details of the Regional Manager, I was given the Johannesburg contact centre number and the number for Apple.

I was told that they do not have email details for their Regional Manager.

The calibre of Management is low. Not once did the staff or management apologise. Good Customer service is obviously not a priority.
