Pathetic Service received

I have taken out my MTN contract with Nashua Mobile on a top up plan, however MTN took over from Nasua. I have had no problems with Nashua. I have upgraded with MTN on 2 April 2015. In April my account has been acthive for 1 day and then suspended. I received an sms advising that I have reached my creit limit. I tried to top up with air time which I used to be able to since I have taken out my contract now I am un abke to. For the entire month of April I was unable to make calls as my account was suspended. My account was activated on 1 May once again and guess what 2 may suspended again with the same nonsense sms sent to me I haent even used my phone but Ive reached my credit limit. I am unabe to get through to the call centre, I have sent an email requesting a consultant to call me, I receive the same reponse about my credit limit being reached. I requested to cancel my contract due to being dissatisfied with the service, they advise my cooling off period is within 7 days of your upgrade, In any contract you are allowed to uprade about 2 months before hand, but if I tried to cancel them they wouldve wanted to charge me. How can I be tied down for 24 months with no serv

Hello Sabsum,

Thank you for your post.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.

Kindly be advised that our system shows that both numbers have been un-suspended.

The credit limit that has been put in place is as per the request from the NCA (National Credit Act). It services as a risk measure in the customers favour as per the NCA. Should you wish for the credit limit to be increased in order to avoid your number being suspended again, kindly contact 808 which is a free call from your contract number.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards,
Ayanda
