Pathetic service provider MTN

A agent called me from Mtn and offered me a contract with 2 phones,so I decided to take with a condition of converting my existing number to the network.I was told it was done and received sms in that regard. Phones were delivered 30 May 2025. From that date to this very moment this number swop has not been activated. After every 2 days i call and I start the process again and I am told it takes a maximum of 4 days. To date still nothing is activated. Most pathetic service from such a renowned cellphone provider.
