Pathetic service provider

Been having issues lately whereby I cannot receive incoming sms and its weeks. Now I called mtn 173 waited 12min holding the line, eventually some rude employee of mtn tries to be smart with me that I need to test my sim on another phone and this middle of the night I must start my car go look for another phone heaven knows where and to test my sim on that phone. Then if it does not work I must call in so that internal technical staff can diagnose for ****s sakes, why can't the technical test now and stop wasting my time? What difference will it make if if it still does work on another phone and now. Now the rude employee puts me on hold as if I am stupid. Well I need that employee to be taught a lesson I am customer and I work in IT industry and definately that's not a your way of treating a customer. Test on your side first if all fails then I can try testing on someone elses phone. This is the number I have issue on *** I can send out sms, browse internet, communicate on whatsapp, my bbm is working only receiving sms is the issue, now how can that be a phone problem. And bare in mind I am not the only one who had this problem, even my girlfriend has the same issue which she did call mtn and couldn't help. With Vodacom I never experienced such issues.
