Pathetic service from MTN

My mom passed away last year. Just after her passing my dad went to the mtn shop and asked them to cancel her phone contract. In store people said it will take up to 7 business days. It has been almost 3 months now and still nothing. We went to the store numerous times, phoned the call center and gave sent numerous mails. Your service is up to no good. My dad will be stopping his debit order at the bank, since MTn is just not getting back at all and they couldn't care less anyway.
