Pathetic service from a pathetic service provider

Having a cell.c sim card for well over a year and having assurance that all my personal information is well secured and taken care of was never a statement that i would have second guessed. Today i was confused but mostly terrified to get an sms saying that my number is now ported to an mtn network. In an instance i for saw the begining to another ***** case. Imagine having all your personal information on this sim card, all my banking information as well. I quickly called the cell.c network and was told i needed to be helped by mtn. A little bit confident now that i am going to be helped by one of South Africas largest network suppliers i called. I was unable to get any help!!! The first person i spoke to from the prepaid service team sounded like they woke up from a 2am dream. I beleive her name was Polite, how ironic she wasnt that polite was unable to assist me in explaing how somone could port my number that i registered in my name using my ID number. I then asked for a manager or senior consultant realising that her knowledge probably would cost me more than id like. I was told they did not have a manager which was extremely percu**** to me because working in a contact centre required teams to be managed. I then dropped the line and called again and was told my another consultant that there is a supervisor but tht person is not available and instantly i thought to myself what is a manager getting paid for? I was how ever told that the only was that somebody could port your number is if they have the orignal sim car which was all along in my mobile phone. The consultant then began to say that they have been recieving complaint like the one i had. I said what are you guys doing about this and she had bo response. Mtn is useless, having thousands of south african memebers one would think that they will value and protect they members personal information not just port numbers without the proper security nethods. I ask them if we could block the number and was told i couldnt. If i am broke tommorow its all because of mtn
