Pathetic Service

I had a contract with MTN, which I did not close. the contract fell into month to month basis without notifying me the debit orders stopped.

Upon applying for loans, I learnt that MTN is still open and I have defaulted payment into the account.

I took the responsibility to request a settlement on the 27th of March, and paid the settlement amount of R 1289.46 and requested a closure of the account.

However MTN has been ducking and diving, I called numerous times and some of the agents dropped the calls, Yesterday I was assisted by a gentleman who I did not capture.

He told me the agent who helped with the closure of the account did not close the account however he blocked the number and the contract is still open and I am liable to pay for the allocation of this month.

This is despite me mentioning to the guy, I do not want the contract.

I called yesterday the guy states the fault is not on my side, he escalated the matter and gave me the reference number for the call N12023S15

The cancellation reference number I was given on the 28th of MArch is ***.

Can you please attend to the matter it hinders me from purchasing a car.
