Pathetic Service
I've taken out a contract from MTN Langebaan through the company that I work for, from the start is was a nightmare driving up and down to find out about why it's been taking so long. After I have phoned first, but they never answered their phones. After all of this 11 days later I had my phone. Then I realized with in two days my airtime and data would be depleted and had to reload airtime and data. This would also just last me two days. I went in after a while so that Renier from MTN could check for reasons why this would be and to switch off apps that could be the reason for me loosing all my data in less than two days. He check and I've asked him to please get me a statement from the day my contract started of the airtime and data that I have loaded additionally for the two months. It's 3 weeks later and I have not received an email or a phone call explaining why I haven't received it yet. I then phoned the customer care and after explaining my situation my call got drop. I phoned again and this time made sure to get a name and surname of the person I spoke to. Once she has helped me. I asked that I want to lay a complaint against langebaan MTN. Done that, still nothing. Then last night I had to load airtime as I'm running a guesthouse and need to be in contact with guests and making sure the business runs accordingly. Loaded R30 at 17:30 and at 21:30 last night I had no airtime with just making one phone call which the person never even answered their phone. SHOCKING BEYOND WORDS. i'M SO TIRED. My friends in langebaan are all experiencing the same thing with this MTN. Spoke to my work colleague this morning and she told me her mom is experiencing the same thing and discovered if she switch her phone off and on again that the airtime reflects again. Then I have a friend that has been waiting 3 weeks for his contract. Worst is that his been with MTN on contract for Years. Imagine how many people are experiencing this and just re-top up because they don't know better. It's all over the media and on radio about MTN *****ing from people and that they are a *****. And when you phone them they act as if its your problem and they don't even sound interested in explaining whats happening and keeping their customers happy. Not even to speak about how miserable both those MTN employers actually look when you walk in to that shop. After I have phoned Renier this Morning I got told to phone 080 and get my own query and he put the phone down in my ear. Obviously he didn't like the fact that I told him that they are useless, maybe the truth hurts.
What to do and who to speak to is impossible to find out from MTN. Any one that can please advise me to whom I can speak to get answers?
