Pathetic Service

Disappointed is an understatement. Rewardsco phoned me on the 20th of April 2022 on behalf of MTN saying that I am due for an upgrade, I told them that my contract is a 3 year contract and they said they would confirm and get back to me. Later the same day Rewards Co phoned me back and said no I am due for an upgrade. So I agreed to the upgrade, I told them that I don't want a device only to change my Data and Minutes we all agreed that my debit order would be R 419.00 After the phone call I received a debi check notification from MTN confirming a debit order of the amount of R 7938.28 I then selected NO.

After iI received the debi check I phoned MTN 4 times on the 21st April. I was then told that there will not be a debit order of R 7938.28 and my monthly installation will only be R 419.

I phoned MTN again on the 4th of May 15:08, and confirmed again what my debit order will be and they confirmed the amount will be R 419.

On 12 May, 08:06am I phoned MTN again to confirm what my debit order will be and again I was told R 419.

On the 2nd June a debit with the amount of R 7938.28 went off.

Since then I have tried and phoned MTN and Rewardsco every day with assistance, up until today I have not received any feedback from anyone regarding this.

I was at MTN Somerset West Mall and Cape Gate and they told me they can not help me, what I need to do is go to the police station and get an affidavit.

At this stage I am very frustrated, all I want is for my account to return to the normal contract. MTN had suspended my account due to nonpayment!!!!

Today the 17th of June I am still up in arms with no answer, Rewardsco confirmed that the amount of R 7 938 will be deducted again at the end of the month.

What pathetic service, there is no eager to help or even to understand from either MTN or Rewards co.
