pathetic customer service - MTN South Africa

i have waited 3 weeks for a response from MTN - all I want is to cancel a stupid data contract. ive held on for their retentions department for nearly 3 hours in total, ive emailed them, ive sent FB messages, messenger messages....... and all i keep getting told is that it has been escalated..... to who?? the unicorns? their customer service is pathetic to say the least!

My advice.... stay away from MTN!
