Pathetic Customer Service by MTN

I have just received delivery of my data sim and called MTN to activate it and no one can assist. I have been given a number to be called and literally called 5 times only to be told that the call center is closed ***) . Does anyone work at MTN and do they know what is happening? I have never experienced such terrible customer service.
