Pathetic

(+- month ago), I upgraded at the MTN branch in Irene Village Mall, Pretoria. They had no stock! After several enquiries, because they never came back to me, I went into the store (travelled from Magaliesburg), they got one from another branch. The next day, I discovered that they upgraded me on my incorrect no, as I have 2 contracts with MTN. I informed them & was told that it would be corrected. The next day, I enquired & was told it was corrected. In the meantime, the laptop was faulty and I was told to bring it in, all the way from Magaliesburg. Due to my work, I was only able to take it back on day 10, but was then told that after day 7, they cannot replace it! They could also only send it away for repairs & I would have to wait 3 weeks before receiving it back. With the new month that started, I discovered that they did not rectify the first wrongfully number, but instead, just upgraded the other number to a data package and left the incorrect one as a data package. Therefore, I now have 2 data packages, which is not right! However, I have now made over 30 phone calls between the Customer Care and the Irene Mall branch. Only once, did someone at the branch answer there phone and said the Manager will phone me back. Four days later, I am STILL waiting!! Various staff at customer care said they will get a Supervisor/manager to phone me back, which also hasn't happen! After explaining that I am on holiday and returned to my home in Oudtshoorn, which is over a 1000Km's from the branch where I upgraded, the customer care staff told me that I must go to that branch - what do they not understand?? Yesterday, I eventually got hold of a supervisor at customer care that said she can see what the problem is and will rectify it - she said she'll get back to me, which did not happen, She said she'd speak to a manager about also replacing my laptop - still nobody has got back to me! At the end of the day, I have done all the phoning from my vodacom phone (causing extra costs), because both my MTN contracts have been converted incorrectly to data only! Please help!!!
