Passing the buck/ No response on Billing query
On 14 March I phoned the Customer Care number for assistance after my devices were blocked. The lady assisted me very efficiently. I then went to the MTN branch in Newton Park as I did not understand how the data usage on 141 worked. The gentleman that assisted me requested me to return on 16 March as the billing ladies were not working on a Saturday. He wrote down a number for me to phone. No reference number was given. On Monday after 7 attempts (were disconnected/ supervisor was not available) a lady called Sandy was on switchboard and indicated that she will assist me. I phoned Sandy every day for feedback and even send emails to find out how far MTN was with my query. On 24 March I got the following response: Unfortunately I'm still awaiting feedback from the JHB Billing department supervisor.
In the meantime you can maybe call our H/O, *** and ask to be transferred to the a supervisor or manager in the Billing department. Or you are welcome to log a complaint with [Email Removed] I phoned the number provided but they could not put me through to a manager or supervisor. A call was once again logged. My query is still open and unresolved.
