Passing the buck and unwilling to assist

I have a cell phone contract with MTN through Altech Autopage. I phone got ****** a while ago and I have been trying to get it black listed. I tried reporting it at the police station but was told I first need to get an ITC number before they can open a case. I then contacted Altech Autopage but they told me I had to do it at MTN and MTN says I need to do it with Altech Autopage as they have not received any information regarding the contract from Altech Autopage. I’m constantly being sent back and forth between the two as the Altech said that I must get the MTN to contact them for the information and MTN says Altech needs to contact them to give the information and neither one is willing to contact the other to assist me. The last straw came on Friday when I went to the MTN store at the Glen Shopping centre. I took the box with all the serial numbers and the delivery note form Altech Autopage with also contains the handset and contract details with me, as this is the only documents I have for this contract. The lady at the MTN store was extremely rude and hostile towards me, saying she will not help me unless I give her the correct information. When I asked her what information she is referring to she would not tell me and just kept on saying I must come back with the correct information. I’m am paying for this contract each month for a phone I do not even have any more due to the fact that I am not able to report it ****** or get a ITC number in order for me to blacklist and finalist my claim with my insurance. Ref No: ***, ***, ***.
