Paidup account

<p>Good day</p> <p> </p> <p>I received a phone call in May about an MTN account that I still need to pay an account I told the guy I paid that in full +-2 years ago and MTN forward me a paid up letter (which I don’t have anymore because it was 2 years ago) . Nobody from MTN phoned me after that or e-mailed me or did anything and now out of the blue I owe around +-R1500.00 .Why now like I said out of the blue someone phones me from a collections company where MTN never tried to contact me and they have my current work email address that’s where they send me the paid up letter. I received an sms saying I need to forward proof of payment to the collections place . I specifically told MTN that time make 100% sure I don’t owe anything anymore.</p> <p> </p> <p>I don’t even know the account number or cell number anymore .</p> <p> </p> <p>I am also not going to pick up the phone from the collections place once this is sorted out.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
