Paid-up letter

MTN just keeps taking my money and demanding money from me. I had arrears that amounted to R5826, I paid those arrears off in September. When I took up my contract I was told that it will end in July. After paying I called MTN and cancelled my contract, I was told that it had been cancelled. Come December, I get an sms saying that I owe R2800, I still paid it after making numerous calls trying to understand why I was still getting data but I cancelled. I was told that after my contract end date came, it change to month-on-month, which was news to me ngoba I was not informed. This was on 23/12/2024. After making the R2800 payment, I called MTN Helpdesk again, requested to cancel. My cancellation was dated for 11/01/2025. The agent that was assisting me assured me that I will not be billed any money ever because my contract cancellation has been successful. I received an sms after the call confirming my cancellation. Haibo come January, I get another SMS stating that I need to pay R55.07, for what?? Fine I paid it. I waited for the 12 to confirm that they won’t send me any data, they didn’t, so I was relieved that it was finally cancelled. On 13/01/2025 I ported-out successfully.

Now here is the issue I am having, on my bereau it shows that I have arrears worth R800+. I called MTN on 21/01/2025 and the agent informed that it was an incorrect billing from the 12/01/2025 and he lodged a bill despute and asked me to wait for 24 Hours. 22/01/2025 I then received an email stating that the despute was resolved successfully. I then called MTN again to try and get a Paid-up letter just so I can have proof that I have paid them, should they do this again in future. Haike I kept being transfered from one department to another until I was told to email: *** (23/01/2025)because I still appear to be in arreas. Till today I have not received the paidup letter or any call regarding what I requested.

All I need is a letter stating that I have paid up whatever was owed to them, a cancellation letter and I need for MTN to stop billing me because I cancelled their contract and even ported out of their network.
