P10 Dual Sim not working

I have been a customer for years at Mtn and a while back I upgraded my contract to the Huawei P10. I was told that it has dual aim capabilities and can switch the memory card to add an additional simcard. Until recently I did not need to add a simcard until I was in an area where Mtn did not have signal. Due to that I wanted to add simcard which I could use in case I get stuck without swopping my simcard out.

To my dismay I have tried everything until I Google and saw that Mtn has removed the dual aim functionality on the Huawei phones. I would like to receive feedback on how can they sell a person a product with all nice promises, but when you want to use that functionality they blocked it. This is not right and I want a response or a solution to this. Someone stated that the P10 phones in SA do not have that functionality. That is a lie. My neighbour has the exact same model and he has dual aim functionality on it.

Therefore.... Mtn. Please advise why do you block the dual sim on the phones.
