Overcharging and apparent refusal to cancel despite numerous requests.

I subscribed to Yellodata about a year and a half ago, for 1gig of data at R69. Later I discovered this was in fact only 500mb, and the price increased to R79. Furthermore, they began to charge me R464 for 'going over limit'; I never received any warnings that I was approaching my limit.

Suffice to say I cancelled immediately. However this seems to be easier said than done.

After getting slammed a second time with a R464 bill for a pathetic 500mb, I emailed them at ********** with a request to immediately cancel my subscription. This was on 1 November 2017. I got a reply later that day that my cancellation was being processed and I would receive a confirmation sms shortly.

This sms never came.

I rep**** to this same support person on 12 November, stating I was still awaiting my cancellation confirmation. I get some sop story two days later (14 November) that there was a glitch in the system, but was assured that my cancellation was processed and I would receive the confirmation sms.

Still no sms...

I mail again on the 24th, and went further by calling their call center. I get another sop story and many apologies, and again get assured that the consultant processed my cancellation.

This morning I found that my account again AGAIN been debited R464. And I didn't even use their frankly useless service.

My advice to anyone who gets a call and offered their 'service': STAY AWAY
