OVERCHARGES ON DATA
Since the month of April, MTN has been overcharging me on my Data number. I made full payment in April but in May this escalated into the thousands which I queried. I received a reference number but no response. I agreed with the charges on my mobile number and paid with additional towards the data line.<br> In June, the data charges on both my data line and mobile rocketed and once again I queried but no response from MTN. As a result my service has been suspended and was told that I have to pay the account in full irrespective of the outstanding queries. This amounts to thousands of Rands which I cannot afford and again no response from MTN.<br> It's a disgrace that this is allowed to go on especially when the networks are regulated by ICASA!

I do know how frustrating this can be, do note that our management teams are aware of this and due to the current protest action being experienced there are delays in our customer touch points.
Kindly note this has been escalated to the Billing department to investigate the usage of your May and June invoices and they will provide you with feedback.
