Overcharged on My Account Without Warning

Have had the same problem with MTN. They removed my credit limit, put me on an open line and overcharge me. They say I owe them R2100 for the most recent month. The bill run for the new month is on the 14th of June. It is now the 15th and MTN say my current spend is more than R500 when I have been on WIFI most of the time and I haven't made a single call or SMS.

I want my credit limit re-instated and the excess funds that I was charged returned to me or I will cancel my contract and go to Vodacom.

Kindly be advised that the credit limit has not been removed on your account. The credit limit that has been put in place is as per the request from the NCA (National Credit Act).

For the invoice dated 2015-06-13, the anytime airtime and data bundles provisioned were depleted and you were then charged for the extra usage on sms and data.
