I have 2 data contracts with MTN & I've been enquiring as to why I was charged more than the contract amount. When I asked them to explain as to why I was overcharged, the response I received was "you were charged correctly" but with no explanation & when asked for an explanation I received no response. This has been going on for the past 2 months and I'm fed up.
Thank you for your post.
We sincere apologized for any inconvenience incurred.
Kindly be advised that on invoice E*** and E*** you were billed prorate charges.
On invoice date 2017-12-20 you had pro-rata charges which means that you were first charged subscriptions fees for the days you were activated which is 2017-11-28 until the close of that invoice date 20-12-2017 you were then charged a month in advanced for the billing period.
Pro rata a billing is typical for your first month on contract and your bailing will resume to normal thereafter.
Note that all subscriptions fees are charged in advanced and usage is billed in arrears.
The billing for the first invoice is correct.
