I run a small law firm and have a TOPUP contract with MTN for R619 per month. A month or two ago MTN debited R14,000 from my business account and after numerous visits and fights with the store the money was eventually refunded. MTN has however once again debited an amount of R3,447.77 from my account. My small company is really suffering as a result of this from MTN and about to close doors. This is a TOPUP contract and it has been realised and confirmed that I specifically requested monthly limit on the account which notes were made on their system. How MTN allows data to run beyond the request is a pure attempt to cripple my company. I am really tired of MTN debiting my account overly every month, leaving me to fight and struggle all the time. When I query this, I am always told about their long, unnecessary and unfair processes. This is a TOPUP in addition to requesting monthly limit thus I do not see why I should be subjected to their long unfair processes while my company is closing down. Last time the excuse was the MTN strike and now I do not know what the excuse is to simply resolve the matter and refund the money into my account.
